Homework Timetables

The link between home and school is seen as very important to the children's learning. Reading books are taken home on a regular basis and parents are asked to help their child by reading and listening to them. A range of question stems can be found in the children's school planner to assist with developing their comprehension of texts.  Homework is given on a weekly basis in maths, reading, handwriting, spellings and times tables. In addition, children are encouraged to perform additional research. Parental support with this is crucial and valued highly. Any support we can offer you as adults, e.g. support with how we teach specific calculations, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher.
